Previously, we shared the blog: Real-time dosimetry: how does it work? This blog discusses the configuration of the RaySafe i3 dosimetry badges. We often receive the question of whether you can replace the badges of the current RaySafe i2 system with the new i3 badges. What are the possibilities?
You can apply the RaySafe i3 dosimetry badges to the existing RaySafe i2 system.
This works entirely automatically. When replacing, ensure that the i3 badge is set to the correct frequency: 868.3 MHz or 918.3 MHz. As soon as you bring an enabled i3 badge near the RaySafe i2 monitor, it will be displayed directly on the screen as you are used to.
The configuration of the i3 badges works largely the same as with the existing i2 badges. Major advantage: the i3 badges are configured directly, without the intervention of a cradle.

What if you use a different system?
Can you also use the RaySafe i3 badges on real-time dosimetry systems from other brands?
Often yes. Please feel free to inquire about the possibilities.
