RaySafe Service Program

How does it work?

With the RaySafe service program, you benefit from fast calibration, maintenance and warranty without unexpected costs.

As soon as you purchase new equipment, it functions properly and is of excellent quality. Naturally, you want to keep it that way. This also applies to the RaySafe X2 and/or RaySafe 452. It is therefore important to have periodic checks and calibrations carried out. How does this work?

Difference between individual calibration and service program

When purchasing the RaySafe 452, it is recommended to calibrate the device once a year. When purchasing the RaySafe X2, it is recommended to calibrate the sensors annually or once every two years. The choice is entirely yours.

With an individual calibration, you can send in the equipment when desired. This can be as per the indicated advice or, for example, only after three years. However, this is entirely at your own risk and provides no guarantees.

You can also make use of a service program. The service program can be activated directly upon purchase or within the recommended calibration time. When sending in your equipment, you can indicate whether you want to use the service program.

This means that you send in the 452 within the first year. For the RaySafe X2 including sensors and the mAs function, you can choose between two programs. You can send in the X2 annually or once every two years.

The calibration

The calibrations take place in the RaySafe laboratory in Hovås, Sweden. This laboratory is certified with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 17025:2017.

The service program has a number of advantages over individual calibrations. For example:

  • A shorter lead time of 10 working days (normally 15 working days). This excludes shipping and returns.
  • Warranty until the device is no longer supported
  • Preventive maintenance included (replacement of cables, case, housing)
  • Repairs included
  • Controlled lifecycle costs (no unexpected costs)
  • No price increases, only indexation
