Everyone performs a test on the infusion pump from time to time. But what if this could be done better and faster? What if you no longer had to refill your infusion bag while testing your volumetric pump? What if you were no longer forced to take your computer with you every day? What if you no longer had to prime before starting an infusion pump test?

Priming
Previously, you had to prime the infusion pump tester before starting the flow or occlusion test of the infusion pump. Whereas this was previously necessary to start the test, with the IDA-6 you start directly without having to prime. The IDA-6 has a different measuring principle, which means this is no longer necessary.
Due to this different measuring principle, you can now also test feeding pumps with intermittent flow. Feeding pumps deliver flow intermittently. The IDA-6 can handle this. This allows you to have feeding pumps analyzed in addition to an infusion pump.
IntelliPump™
The IDA-6 is equipped with IntelliPump™ technology. This means that the drainage is pumped back into the infusion bag from the IDA-6, without this affecting the measurement. This means you do not have to continuously fill the infusion bag.
Self-configuration
All of the above is integrated into the IDA-6. What can you configure yourself to make the IDA-6 work best for you? You can work via the procedures, but you can also perform a separate measurement.
You can configure these separate measurements yourself. You can set start and stop conditions, back pressure, and stop by time or volume, among other things. You can also enter your measurement margins. Of course, you can also configure this in a procedure. The back pressure is a new feature on the IDA-6. With this, you can simulate a constant pressure to check whether the infusion pump delivers the correct output regardless of the constant pressure.
It is also good to know that the IDA-6 infusion pump tester is designed in accordance with IEC60601-2-24.
