The TwinStream™ ONE from Carl Reiner GmbH is ideal when you want space in the operating area during procedures or want to avoid extreme thorax excursions. The TwinStream™ ONE offers a solution in the field of head and neck surgery, bronchoscopy, thoracic surgery and radiology. The combination of jet ventilation during laser surgery is also very valuable. By means of a narrow single lumen jet catheter, if necessary laser resistant, the patient is ventilated via jet ventilation. This way there is a lot of space in the surgical field. You set the jet frequency, the oxygen percentage and pressure monitoring.
During jet ventilation, the TwinStream™ ONE monitors the pressure limit you set and the device pauses when the pressure limit is exceeded. This is an important aspect with a view to preventing barotrauma. During jet ventilation and laser surgery, the “laser safe mode” is important. This helps you to control the oxygen percentage and thus be able to lase safely.
The TwinStream™ ONE can be expanded with extra options, such as Superimposed High
Frequency Jet Ventilation. This allows you to ventilate your patient via the laryngoscope or bronchoscope and therefore without a jet catheter.
