The ESA609 is a compact, portable and robust electrical safety tester from Fluke Biomedical. This user-friendly device is designed for the mobile technician and features a rubber housing to limit damage from drops and impacts.
The ESA609 includes all the functions needed to test medical equipment without patient connections, such as: mains voltage, earth resistance, current consumption, insulation resistance, leakage currents and point-to-point measurements.
The ESA609 measures according to many international standards, including IEC62353 and IEC60601. The device is lightweight (0.7 kg) and equipped with a carrying strap. The tilt stand allows the device to be placed in a clearly readable position at the workplace.
