The RaySafe DXR+ is a simple tool to align the light and radiation beam of the X-ray machine. The DXR+ functions as an X-ray ruler. An ideal solution for applying accurate measurements for radiography and mammography.
As soon as the DXR+ is exposed to radiation, the device switches on automatically. International standards indicate that the light and radiation field must be within 2% of the SID, and +/-5 mm from the chest wall in mammography. The DXR+ provides a reliable and reproducible reading from a minimum of 30kVp.
A metric scale of the DXR+ is visible on the image.
