This prevents unnecessary exposure or deviating images. Often, a square phantom is placed to check the light field in relation to the radiation beam. This takes time and sometimes requires multiple exposures.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The DXR+ is a pocket-sized measuring device that allows you to perform this check quickly and without a phantom. How does it work? <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Use in 3 steps: position, expose, read<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>1. Read<\/strong><br\/>Reading can be done both on the DXR+ and on the X-ray itself. The DXR+ is automatically activated as soon as it detects radiation. The light-sensitive diodes on the ruler light up, allowing you to directly read where the radiation beam reaches. The display disappears after 60 seconds. The metric scale of the DXR+ is also visible on the X-ray.
