What is the EAB 11?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The EAB 11<\/a> is an instrument used to check suction electrodes. Suction electrodes are used to monitor the ECG function of the heart. It is therefore important that this works properly. The EAB 11 works with the ESA family and\/or ProSim family. <\/p>\n\n

What can you do with it?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The EAB 11 in combination with the ESA family is used to test suction electrodes for electrical safety. You check whether there are patient leakage currents and whether they fall within the limit of the measurement standards (IEC 60601-1 and IEC 62353). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you use the EAB 11 with the ProSim family, you simulate an ECG signal. You connect the suction electrodes of your ECG monitor to the EAB 11 via the so-called V2A plates. The ProSim simulates the ECG signal as you have set it. These signals are passed on one-to-one via the supplied test leads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pressure gauge is supplied with the EAB 11. This allows you to check the vacuum pressure of the suction electrodes, so you know whether the pump is still functioning properly. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What else you need to know<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

As you can see in the photo, the ten test leads are labeled. This ensures that you connect all test leads correctly between the EAB 11 and the ESA and\/or ProSim family. The EAB 11 works completely analogue and does not need to be calibrated. <\/p>\n\n
