The versatile RaySafe X2<\/a> Survey sensor is primarily used to measure scatter and leakage radiation in diagnostic X-ray equipment. The sensor is based on a series of silicon diodes. As a result, the Survey sensor covers a larger measuring surface compared to the R\/F sensor. The Survey sensor can be placed on a standard photo tripod. <\/p>\n\n

Solid State sensor<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To begin with, the Survey sensor is a solid-state sensor that can measure radiation very accurately using semiconductor technology. When connected to the RaySafe X2<\/a> base unit, a self-test is performed immediately, and the base unit reads the sensor’s data. Immediately after the short self-test, the X2 base unit directly displays the parameters belonging to the sensor on the screen. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
