Several have already been mentioned in previous blog posts. RaySafe also provides an Excel template to perform this measurement.<br\/>Click here for the RaySafe website. Then go to the \u201cDocuments &amp; Downloads\u201d tab. Under the heading \u201cExcel templates\u201d you will find the file.   <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Parameters<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>The Light sensor measures in two units with the following range:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>0.01\u201310,000 cd\/m\u00b2, luminance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0.1\u2013100,000 lux, illuminance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The deviation from the human eye is less than 3%. The cosine deviation is also less than 3%. To measure in luminance: turn the wheel of the sensor to the screen icon. Then place the connected sensor on the screen.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"180\" height=\"221\" src=\"https:\/\/adquipment.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/raysafex2light3-AdQuipment.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4892\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>To perform the measurement in illuminance, turn the wheel to the lamp icon. Then point the opening of the light distributor to the point you want to measure. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"238\" height=\"189\" src=\"https:\/\/adquipment.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/raysafex2light4-AdQuipment.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4891\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>If you want to restore the Light sensor to the zero point after measuring, turn the wheel to the zero point. Restoring the zero point takes about 10 seconds. <\/p>\n\n<p>Once you have finished measuring, it is important to store the sensor correctly. Turn the wheel to the zero point or to the lamp icon.
