1985
Foundation
Jan Beek starts AdQuipment medical through a management buy-out of the medical division of AdQuipment in Woerden, where the activities of the former WTI were incorporated in 1982.
1994
Moving to Spijkenisse
After being located in Rotterdam Spaanse Polder for almost 10 years, AdQuipment medical moves to a more spacious, efficient building on the Röntgenweg in Spijkenisse.
1999
Nils Beek director-owner
After gaining experience in various positions for almost 15 years, Nils Beek takes over AdQuipment medical from his father and becomes general manager.
2002
Founder retires
After being active in the medical market for more than 25 years, Jan and Wil Beek are going to enjoy their well-deserved retirement. In the background, they continue to support their successor with advice and assistance.
2003
Relocation to Hellevoetsluis
After many years, the building in Spijkenisse is no longer suitable. A suitable building is found in Hellevoetsluis and completely renovated for AdQuipment medical.
2006
Renewed appearance
Time has overtaken the appearance of AdQuipment medical. Together with designer IlSera, a completely new look is created with the accompanying slogan: Vision meets Precision. The logo, which is also more than 20 years old, is also being replaced.
2009
Expansion of building
In just 5 years, AdQuipment medical has outgrown its premises. The building on the Christiaan Huygensweg is being thoroughly renovated so that the available business space is doubled.
2015
Anniversary 30 years
A modern look is appropriate for a 30-year-old, dynamic company. The corporate look for the coming years is taking shape in collaboration with SPEAX. The mission and vision of AdQuipment medical form the basis and are promoted with the slogan “Technology for care, care for technology” and supported by the six icons for the product groups.
2018
Huub Jonkers co-owner
Huub Jonkers acquires a stake in AdQuipment medical and is appointed director alongside Nils Beek. The collaboration will be further expanded in the coming years with the ultimate goal of full acquisition.
2024
Huub Jonkers full owner
After a transition period of 6 years, Huub Jonkers takes over all shares of AdQuipment medical from Nils Beek.
2024
Nils Beek retires
As of December 31, 2024, Nils Beek will retire after an immense career at AdQuipment. The previous six years have been necessary to properly transfer ALL of Nils’ activities. From quality matters to ICT, the Electrical Safety Course to financial management and much more.
2025
40th anniversary AdQuipment medical
A milestone that all of AdQuipment is proud of: the 40th anniversary. Active with biomedical test equipment and medical technology since 1985. This is also a good time to renew our appearance. A beautiful look&feel with which we can enter the future.
