Prevent kinks with reinforced endotracheal tubes

The friendly cuffed reinforced endotracheal tube from Tappa Medical is used in anesthesiology during surgery, in intensive care and in the emergency room for airway management and mechanical ventilation.

The reinforced tube is sturdy, but flexible due to the spiral wire in the tube. The tube is suitable for procedures where the tube is partially in the way due to the reduced risk of kinking. Examples include oral, jaw and facial surgery, thyroid surgery, shoulder surgery or with unusual positions such as prone position during a hernia operation of the back. The tube can be used orally and nasally.

The reinforced endotracheal tube is made of medical grade silicone. It offers superior bio compatibility and flexibility. In combination with a short soft tip, damage to the tracheal wall and airway mucosa is minimized.

The tube comes with a tube guide, which makes inserting and manipulating the tube easier. The tube connector is detachable, which can be helpful when repositioning the tube during a procedure.
